Our history

Initially created in 2007 under the name Transport Equipment and Elastomers, it was not until 2012 that our sector fully dedicated itself to elastomer materials, following the establishment of the Accord Centers of Excellence by the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Energy. Our center of excellence marked its transformation in 2015 by becoming a non-profit organization. Since 2022, InnoRubber360 has been the initiator of a variety of structuring projects that generate collaborative innovation through the engagement of its member companies and industry partners.

Accord process

InnoRubber360 is part of the ACCORD excellence clusters. The ACCORD initiative is a government-driven effort aimed at boosting the economy of Quebec’s regions. It focuses on collaboration and innovation to foster the creation of new industrial networks by leveraging regional strengths. The excellence cluster supports collaborative innovation by providing support mechanisms that facilitate access to existing programs and bring research closer to SMEs, especially in regional areas.
